10. Humane Society of The United States

What’s more fun than a cat-lover bringing her pet with her to her job at an animal shelter? While she works to earn, the pet gets an opportunity to relate with and make new friends with the rescued animals. The Humane Society of the United States is a trusted animal shelter that has rescued hundreds of animals in crisis.

Launched as a brand under InterContinental Hotel Groups PLC, Kimpton Boutique Hotel and Restaurant is a luxury brand with over 75 properties worldwide and about 66 properties in the United States. It is a brand that takes pet-loving to another level by allowing both employees and customers to bring pets of any kind into the establishment. Just like the previously mentioned company, it considers allowing pets as a form of boosting the productivity of employees. It lies in my seventh spot because it values all pets as one without any preference and has really good pay.

The company has a Pet Team of employees, including some workers with veterinary and pet-care experience, who help and advise pet parents.

Over the years, Japan has been well-known for its long work hours and fatigued workers. Unlike the United States, where dogs are the most populous pets, in Japan, that title goes to cats. Cats have been shown to have stress-relieving powers, and the company capitalized on this information. Ferray is a cat-friendly firm that allows its employees to bring their cats to work because of their stress-relieving features. In addition to that, CEO and head of the firm Hidenobu Fukuda, gives about 5000yen ($45) a month to anyone who rescues a cat. The company’s cat policy was introduced in 2000 after a colleague requested to bring a furry feline to work.

So if you’re a Japan-based fan of IT-related jobs and also a lover of furry felines, you may like working with this company.

In conclusion, pets have a way of making their owners happy. This happiness tends to increase the productivity of the pet parents at work. Cats are very lovely, cute, and sophisticated animals, and that’s why this list ranks these aforementioned companies in the order of how we think they value cats in their organization. For companies that want to elevate the productivity and happiness of their employees, having a relaxed policy on pets can help.
